Two landforms belonging to different worlds, stacked cleanly on one hard horizontal line straight across the middle of the frame: a warm red canyon wall with a white fall down it above, deep saturated blue water below, each plane lit on its own terms with the mismatch left completely unresolved. One spotted animal standing still on the lower plane, well off centre and small. Deep saturated green against weathered bone stone, and those two alone, both planes deeply coloured and saturated and neither of them bright. The upper plane dense and detailed, the lower flat and empty. Two flat planes with a hard join between them, the depth deliberately flattened. Matter-of-fact about something impossible. The camera is locked off and holds completely still for the whole shot; only the air and the light move. One continuous take, held to the end, the grade and the framing staying exactly as described for the whole shot.
