A vertical stack of four widescreen film frames of equal height, every panel edge touching its neighbour directly and sharing one single edge with it, each seam a direct change from one picture straight into the next, and the stack running full bleed to all four edges. The first panel is graded violet into lilac, a high-angle wide of a crowd pushing through a lit arcade with the subject small inside it. The second panel is flat green mercury-vapour night, a close of the subject looking back over one shoulder at something behind them, mid-stride. The third panel is amber tungsten, an interior medium with the subject braced against a door and two figures beyond it. The fourth panel is electric cobalt at full purity, a wide of a wet street with the subject running away down the middle of it. Each panel is committed completely to its own colour so the seams read as hue changes, the darks dense and tinted with that panel's own hue. two invented adults in a chase, both in motion, one pursuing. The arcade crowd moving in the first panel and rain hammering the street in the last. A soft round halo around every bright point source. Somebody who has taken something and is thirty seconds ahead.
