The roofs of a bathhouse in travertine pink, pale and faintly violet in the shade sculpted render sweep across the frame with thick rounded edges, running off all four edges with a narrow strip of flat deep blue sky at the top. One vast bubble roof pierced by round skylights. Small round openings a hand's width each are punched through them. The render is coarse and open in texture, and moss with one band of hot pink flowering ground cover fills every valley. Hard high sun gives each shell its own crescent of shade along the underside of its edge. Every flight of the stair stands clear in the air, cantilevered off one face alone.
