A one-colour riso club flyer flooded edge to edge in acid lemon, the flood laid unevenly with visible roller texture and every mark on it a grainy black: a hand holding a flat circular object balanced on one fingertip large and flat in black filling the middle of the sheet, warm, slightly wobbly, generous round bowls, with an ampersand set inside a circle set in letters drawn fast with a flat marker, uneven weights, each word closed off by a rule that extends past its last letter and knocked out of a hand-torn black mass laid across it, with the venue handle knocked out beneath at half the size, five photocopied cut-out heads arranged across the lower half each with a starburst nameplate carrying a name and a set time, and Thursday 9 October, doors 9pm, 7 Bold Street L1 4DN. Packed solid, every inch of the sheet used, hard edges throughout. Loud and cheap and completely sure of itself.
